Early Years Fairs held in Stettler, Castor

Trio of Early Years Fairs held in region

The Three Cs Choosewell Committee recently wrapped up its annual spring series of Early Years Fairs.

The Committee runs the fairs a couple of times a year as a way to let parents know of services which are available to them in the region.

On hand were representatives from Clearview Public Schools, representatives from the Catholic schools - Christ King in Stettler, and Theresetta in Castor - Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), McMan Family Resource Centre, Caring and Resilient Students (CARS), Paintearth Adult Learning, and the local libraries.

The first Early Years Fair took place on May 14 at the Stettler Recreation Centre Hub. The following week, the second fair was held in Castor at Gus Wetter School on May 22. The final one took place at Coronation School on May 23.

While parents were busy getting information, there was plenty of opportunities for kids to play.

The Three Cs Choosewell committee invites the schools to participate, and in Castor Gus Wetter School and Theresetta alternate turns hosting.

-The story was updated to correct that the Three Cs Choosewell Committee and Clearview Public Schools holds on the Early Years Fairs.
